Starting Up, Again

Time to begin a new "school year". I will have one in high school now, though I don't see much change for him from past years.

Math- CIMT  four days a week, then Zillio one day.

Science- Chemistry from Real Science 4-kids

History/Geography- first week we'll review Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt, then on to Ancient Greek

Language Arts- English Literature, research/writing work, grammar

Art- once a week we'll study an artist, another day we'll practice skills

Music- concentrating on instrument recognition

Foreign Language- continue with Latin, but hoping to add Spanish

Keyboarding- from a variety of online programs, will leave it to them to choose

My first grader will be following a more Cosmic path- starting with "The Universe Story Trilogy" I'll add some Montessori-inspired math, grammar, writing and reading lessons. He'll be using NAU videos and worksheets to learn Spanish.
