NOW!

Okay. It's time to make changes. I don't feel well, almost always. I'm tired. I'm achy. I have next to no energy.And I'm FAT! So.. summing this up, I'm just miserable.

Sugar has to go. That much I know. This is the hard one for me. I drink water, almost exclusively. I mean, daily I drink 10 glasses or more of water and nothing else. I generally skip breakfast because food does not look appetizing to me until around 3 or 4 pm. Then I scrounge up leftovers for that. Sometimes healthy like a salad, sometimes not so healthy like nachos. Dinner is a decent proportioned meal- piece of chicken with rice and some peas. Not enough veggies, most definitely. That's what I need most to work on. And then there's the SNACK in the evening- which is what is killing me, I'm sure. I crave chocolate and generally I want the smooth and cold of ice cream with the hot of homemade thick chocolate syrup.

Lord help me.

And I'm blogging about it. I hope this will keep me going. I want to lose weight, yes. But more importantly I want to be healthy. To feel healthy. To have energy, to enjoy breathing. Breathing, I just realized seems like a chore right now. Sad.
